Online Kinesiology, How Does It Work?
An online kinesiology session is structured in the same way that an in person session would flow. The therapist will work with you to understand your current issues and establish a priority goal before using muscle monitoring to investigate the unresolved stresses currently hindering your self healing mechanism.
Obviously, during online sessions we are not muscle monitoring you, the client. Instead, the kinesiologist, with your permission, can access your field and perform muscle monitoring on themselves as a “surrogate”.
Surrogate balancing can also be a great option if you have someone in your life who would like to receive kinesiology but cannot make it to the clinic. For instance, a parent may receive a kinesiology treatment on behalf of their young child who wouldn’t have the capacity to lay still on a treatment table.
Online kinesiology sessions offer the same effectiveness in terms of outcomes as in person treatments. They are suitable for most issues. Some types of treatments (eg. back injuries) require more physical input in terms of muscle manipulation and are therefore preferred to be in person.
